So I was playing the Blackwell games… again… for the millionth time and I got to one of the parts where you had to use the Oogle search engine to find a location… then I got curious so I put in Dave Gilbert’s (the creator of the series) name in it. This was what I got back:

I laughed so hard over that. Then out of further curiosity, typed in Lauren’s name in.

You get a news story about what happened that caused Lauren admitted at Bellevue.

I totally didn’t know about these and I love it when little Easter eggs like these are added. :D

I’ve always wanted to try out cosplaying at conventions. But there have always been… complications.

For one thing: I’m not in the best of shape and a lot of my favorite characters are much skinnier than I am. I know the obvious answer here is “diet and exercise” but even though I try to exercise, I haven’t had a great track record with diets.

Second thing: I’m not good at sewing or crafting. ‘Nuff said.

But I think I may have found a character that I can pull off.

Rosangela Blackwell from the Blackwell games. Specifically the version of her in Blackwell Convergence since that’s my favorite of her appearances. Yeah I still need to some a little weight but I think I can still manage this.

Basically looking at Rosa’s portrait and her sprite, I would need:

• A red-orangish wig that I can put into a ponytail. Maybe medium-ish length?
• A set of glasses
• Plain white t-shirt
• Light blue jeans
• A bright green jacket
• Brown shoes

Like I said, I think I can pull this off. I’m thinking I’ll probably start shopping around November or December. I want to do this when next year’s Pitt Comicon rolls around. :)

F. What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom

Hm… I’m not quite sure actually. I suppose there was the fact that I was a part of the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom for a few years mostly writing terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE fanfiction. But I eventually lost interest in the show and now it’s got like a bajillion freaking spin-offs. @_@

  To be honest, I’m sort of in-between fandoms at the moment. But before that I was all happy and excited with fem!ShepxKaidan and man!ShepxAshley.

  I think the answer to that would be a big “ooooh yes.” Just about any fandom I was in, I drew something silly. As an example here was one thing I made for Dragon Age last year.

  Not really. I admit that I had to take a break from Mass Effect partially because of the fandom but I don’t hate it and it wasn’t Tumblr’s fault.

  To be honest? Skyrim. I mean I liked Fallout 3 but I’m more of a sci-fi girl than fantasy so Skyrim didn’t really peak my interest.

  Then just about everyone I was watching started playing Skyrim, add to that my boyfriend playing the game and a really awesome song, and I got interested.
